Hey guys, eager to hear your thoughts on this..
If you could have a basketball website come out with everything you wanted, what kind of content would you like to see on it? Workouts? Drills? Programs? Articles?
Something else?
I'm currently working on something big.. but would love to hear your opinions.
Thanks

Definitely workouts from guys that know what they're doing is key. Breakdowns of moves like 10000 hours does, some articles, I'm really a guys looking to learn as much as I can, but not a ton of people are like that. I'm not sure what the general public would like probably just mix tapes lol.. I guess it just depends if you want as much traffic as possible or you want only serious ballers on there that might come on more consistently..

Well it's definitely going to be training-based, doubt I'll include mixtapes. Will be up to you to decide whether I know what I'm doing haha. Thanks though. Any other ideas?

There are so many basketball training resources the biggest questiins what are you willing to bring to the table that is new? Or what are you going to do to improve on already good training methods?

True, but what I don't see a lot of is consistent high quality workout footage. I was expecting BeElite.tv to be a lot more than it was.. we got 3 videos of RepsOnReps which were nice, but I was hoping for more. If I can combine hq workout footage with some unique drill tutorials, informative articles, I think I'll have a start.
Keep the ideas coming, this is very helpful for me.

im glad you took what i said the right way, cause when i reread what i wrote it sounded kinda offensive.
But ya beelite.tv was a big let down, the three videos they released are not offseason workouts or anything like the training vids on youtube

Yeah I think anything we can learn from will be awesome then. Especially workout footage.

Workouts, definitely. If you can make training footage and then post the workout or something, cause drills are plenty, it's a matter of having a good and stable workout that's hard.

Workouts on court, im not a big fan if super long vids I would rather have a 10 minute vid which show's a drill and how mqny reps to do

The majority will be on-court workouts, similar to the Superhandles AP program, but vids will be free. I've done around 10 videos so far, most of them are around 2-3 minutes.
Edit: I'm curious if you guys saw the FOUNDation or NSOG series and what you thought of it?

also another thing -- i think this is a personal thing -- the drills should be intense but simple enough to remember when you get to the gym. Cause usually when i try to remember all the drills from any program i can't. Thats why i usually like workouts that are in pdf format

Hmm, can't always keep it simple. You should always have a written plan of attack when you hit the gym, weightroom or court.

Ok guys, I have a very rough draft of a website up. Look it over and let me know what you think. frameworkbasketball.comAlso, there are 3 sample videos up in the style I plan to use. I have about 10 videos from 2013 that are like that. Please give critiques/suggestions here. Thanks! edit: also, I'll ask you dont share this anywhere.. its an extremely rough & unfinished project
