one thing i do that's great for quickness is i do hill work 3x a week 1 day of the week i just do max effort sprinting, shuffling, and backpedaling and some running through cones up and back down the hill the other day I do ladder drills up and back down and the other day i do exercises on the hills such as broad jumps, lunges, speed skaters, pogo jumps and some other exercises

Also jump rope makes you feel so light on your feet

time to go find a hill to try those out.
I think relative strength helps, jumproping helps, plyometrics help.
Actually practice with the basketball.
The drill i do is where i take one dribble from the 3 point line and try to get to the rim with 2 steps (no extra dribbles). Will get you some scary speed.

I drible to the hoop is easy for me.. Do u mean like 2 steps total? Or take 1 dribble and then 2 more steps?

One thing is getting your core stronger just helps every part of your game especially the ability to stop and go

I drible to the hoop is easy for me.. Do u mean like 2 steps total? Or take 1 dribble and then 2 more steps? U can make it harder by making the one dribble way before the 3 and extending to the rim. Keep moving back to make it harder. Also overtime by coach roc is pretty good, gets u in great shape if u don't have any nagging injuries like i do
