Finished testing!! Almost
Spot up 3s 60/100 5x20 Not tested Superhandles rating 35 Pullups 1 VJ 25 in. Bench 80 lbs. 3x Squat 100 lbs 3x Weight 112 lbs.
I got my pull-ups, bench, squat, and weight goals. I am confident I will get my 5x20 goal but we'll see.
For Pullups, the reason I went down to 1 is before my form was messed up in many ways and now that I fixed it I just wanted to do 1 solid pull-up lol.
For handles rating, it went DOWN because the first time I was looking down at the ball on many of the drills so I fixed that as well and did everything perfect this time.
I am very happy with my shooting actually because even though I sucked at the first spot and was tired and my shot felt weird today, I still improved from last month, so that is awesome.
Here's what I'll do to hit these goals next month: Never miss my rep shooting and practice being 100% focused while practicing. Do dominant handles and keep head up and pound the ball and always push myself to lose it. Never miss a lifting workout, add another core day on saturdays.
To conclude I had a pretty solid month and athleticism is coming well. February is going to be wayy better. I'm going to eat healthier, watch more film, not get down if I have a bad game and instead use it for motivation, do all the little things, and just ball it up all around lol.
I'm starting EGT w/dh substituted for the ball handling tomorrow. Going to be awesome. I really refuse to miss workouts this time around. I'm going to follow the program without changing up a bunch of stuff and see what happens.

Dang.. tested 5x20 I didn't want to change the workouts so I added it after everything else. I was tired but I generally stayed focused and got 58/100. Maybe I would have got 60 if I wasn't tired, maybe not. I went really hard today and got everything done in 2 hours 10 minutes. Want to get it down to two hours. Anyways, my goals for next month!!
65/100 on spot up 3s 65/100 in 5x20 superhandles rating 40 2 step vj 26 in. pullups 4 squat 115 lbs. 3x bench 90 lbs. 3x weight 115 lbs.
Like I said the plan is egt w/dh, an extra core workout on saturdays, 2 lifts a week, two games a week, and of course foam rolling and stretching before bed. This time around there won't be any "adjustments" on my goals (i'm hoping) like I did with pullups and ball handling. doing everything properly.

1/14/14: Great Workout today. Basketball Power of Dominant Handles with Undersized finishing of PGA. Finished with 5x20 and jump roped. 2 things that help your game more than you would think-- Jump Roping and Foam Rolling. Ever since I started writing my goals out I started training way harder but I was less sore because I also started to foam roll and stretch before bed. Jump roping after skill work helps with soreness, and makes you quicker and more conditioned. Try it out. at otter basketball, they usually have us jump rope before a workout, and after a workout, it really helps being light too, i totally agree with you on that

Quick Update: I have only gained about a half a pound so far this month:/ But i'm now increasing my caloric intake hopefully enough to where i'll hit 115 by march. I "broke through" today but only scrimmaged so super pumped to workout tomorrow and see how well i'm shooting. Handles are snappy and improved too. Other than that i'll update you again after my games and at the end of the month.

Just got done testing handles and 5x20. Rating:41 Happy with this. Met my goal, dh is serving me well. 5x20: 61/100 I'm happy with this too. My goal was 65 but I didn't practice drop turns or NBA 3s all my and it still went up. My jumper is way smooth and effortless now in midrange and I'm not heaving the ball anymore when I shoot movig 3s. Overall the goal of the first 4 weeks of egt were to build some fundamental skill and that's what I did.
Will test spot ups, weight (forgot to today I just worked out so I'll wait till tomorrow), bench, squat, vj and pullups all by Wednesday and then let you guys know how I do
Will update again in 4 weeks but phase 2 and 3 is where the real money is made I can't wait to see how much I have improved 2 months from now.
Season is over and I'm getting stronger so I'll probably start slowly raising my set point/shot pocket.
This month went well overall had a few days where I got distracted and didn't foam roll abd write goals but didn't miss any workouts. Might play spring ball or just start a weekly scrimmage w/ my friends.
For now I'm exhausted and so glad tomorrow is an off day. I'll update again on Wednesday!

Forgot to test spot up 3s and pullups today!!! Dang oh well i'll test both saturday but heres how I did on the others
VJ 25.5 in. not worried about this. I'm getting stronger and increasing my squat so it will go up with time. Bench 90 lbs. I only got 1 rep. I got close but I also improved a lot so i'm not worried about this either. Squat 115 lbs 3x, squat is improving really fast.

Not gonna test this month. I took 4 days off skill work to recover from nagging injuries and then my skills were iffy so it wouldn't be accurate, to be fair though, last month was probably the worst one so far. I missed a few lifts which is ridiculous since i'm only lifting 2x a week. No excuses I failed you guys haha. Oh well this month is off to a WAY better start and I'm just gonna keep hammering the little things. I've been doing yoga and there is definitely benefits. Balance and flexibility increased drastically as well as some mobility benefits, of course recovery, focus, etc.

This is the last month on EGT I better get some dang shooting results lol goal is 70 I really need and want to improve my shooting. I've been doing 50 reps a day on my AI cross for like 2 or 3 weeks I believe. After EGT i'll do SM w/1-2 things added each day ex. rep shooting at end ball handling before or something like that, and still continue the 50 reps.
