All indicators should be tested by saturday! Can't wait to see what happens my jumper has improved, i'm getting stronger with thedougallers program, I'm 2 inches from touching the rim, handle is tight, and i'm competing well against grown men!

I honestly have no idea I think i've grown a lot buut I know i'm close to 5'9 my reach is 7"4 so that means my max vert is 30 inches. Need 32 to hit rim

Alright guys!! Finally, indicators are tested. Here's what happened.
Superhandles Rating: 51 Pullups: 4 2 step VJ 27.5 in. Weight: 119 lbs. Bench: 85 lbs. 3x5 Squat: 115 lbs. 3x5
My shooting I didn't even attempt. Not sure if I've told you guys this before but I have some serious mental issues. I don't keep track of shots in a regular workout but I would say in 5x20 I usually get somewhere in the 60s, and I also just broke through so it would probably be closer to 75 IF my mind would allow me to hit shots. My mental game is so bad that after hitting like 15/20 in one spot, I will set a goal to hit 10/20, well below my shooting % at the next spot, make like 8/11 on the first shots, and then go 1/9 on the rest of the shots just because my mind doesn't see myself as a better shooter than I currently am, and also doesn't want me to achieve goals because that would mean my shooting is improving. So, I started testing today and went 4/13. At that point I knew my mind would sabotage every shot and the number wouldn't be anywhere near my potential.
To fix this, I am doing affirmations, a LOT of visualization, and i'm going to set really low goals that will force me to hit them and slowly higher the bar. This should be fixed by next month, if not the month after.
For handles, I noticed the stationary drills pretty much stayed the same, while the moving shot up a lot. This is good in a sense as moving is what you do in the game and moving has always been a weakness, however, this also means that i'm not challenging myself enough on the stationary drills I do. I'm done with DH lately i've just been doing cone work which is probably what helped moving a lot. I still achieved my goal and I'm getting ridiculous now I'm crossing people multiple times every time I compete against somebody. I just have to make sure to pound the ball and work on improving my speed and dribbling the ball faster and harder.
Vj was good, hit my goal, getting close to rim.
For pullups, not much to say other than I'm doing negatives to try to break the plateau so I'm gonna just keep doing what i'm doing.
For weight, I wasn't eating enough for 3/4 of the month but now i'm keeping track of calories, and protein. I get as much protein as possible usually about 100 grams on a non lifting day and 125 on a lift day. I eat 2500 calories a day and 3000 on lift days. Weight will not be a problem next month. I'm gaining weight fast and gains are better too since i'm eating more protein.
For bench and squat, I changed my goals to 85 lbs. 3x5 bench and 115 lbs. 3x5 squat because I didn't want to change the dougallers program. I hit my goals though and i'm increasing nicely so i'm very happy with this.
Goals for next month!!
Spot up 3s: 75/100 5x20: 75/100 (Those are if I test, I will only test if I have solved my mental problem by then) Handles: 55 Pullups: 6 2 Step VJ: 29 in. Weight: 124 lbs. Bench: 100 lbs. 3x5 Squat: 135 lbs. 3x5
Plan of attack: As I said before I'm done with DH. I finished EGT as well. Now I'm onto scoring machine. 3x out of the week i'm gonna do extra ball handling before sm, and 3x out of the week i'm gonna do extra shots after. On friday and saturday, I will probably do a 3 a day in prep for summer at least one of the days, if I'm up for a 3 a day on both days i'll do it. But i'll try to do at least 1 super handles workout a week as well as a scrimmage day, 3 lifts, and the 5 sm workouts. I will scrimmage after a sm workout if there is any good competition as well. There is 5 weeks until summer hits and i'm prepared to work harder than ever. I'm going to apply to be a janitor at a local school over the summer to earn some money. Next month i'll have some goals set for what I want to achieve over summer break. Thanks for the support guys and as usual, i'll let you know how it goes.

So as you guys know I haven't posted on here in a while. I mostly just skipped test indicators and focused on training. I just my shooting form completely and its coming along nicely. I'm working on superhandles ap in the morning and if I want to scoring machine at night. I'm currently on vacation sadly but I am working on everything except shooting in a tile basement. Once I get back in a week i'll continue my schedule. I'm not gonna lie things have gone far less than ideal for me. I haven't been gaining weight, I can break my pullup or bench plateau, and I haven't been consistent with my lifting. But I'm going to start waking up at 7 every day and getting my workout done first thing and then just enjoying the rest of my day. Before I would wake up at 2, workout, and then not have time to do anything else like hang out or relax. It sucked. I got burnt out really. I'm done with the 3 workouts a day. I'm going to be really beast with my off court stuff like visualizing meditating stretching etc. And get almost everything done really early in the day and only do a 3rd workout If I WANT to. I'm not gonna force it on myself. I'm now tracking calories eating 3000 a day, and my shooting won't be a problem soon as I have fixed my form. Mentality and confidence is still a problem but I'm gonna be consistent with my affirmations and stuff. Hopefully I will test some indicators soon. I think my vert is 30 inches but not sure. Handles are getting better weight will go up and I'm just gonna make sure I get all 3 lifts in every week. Letting go of the past and focusing on the present.

Starting 2nd week of PGA tomorrow with taking one of the pick and roll passing workouts out and adding a scrimmage day. Going good so far I'm doing extra ball handling and shots before and after workouts.
Its clear i'm not going to reach some of the goals I set for myself so I made them realistic.
Shooting 75/100 on spot up 3s Handles still level 80 Vertical still 30 (I think I already hit that one) Bench 135 1x Squat 180 1x weight 130-135 i'll try to get 135 but i'll be ok with 130 pullups 10 i'm stuck at 3 and have no idea why

Bought a pull up bar, do them everyday. My jumper is getting really nice pull-ups spot ups around screens in the midrange I really don't miss but I have to speed up my pull-up a lot. Range is expanding I can kind of shoot 3s i'm going to start practicing them and hopefully by tryouts they'll be comfortable and I can make 3/4. Haven't made big improvements on handles in tryouts they do the same 2 ball moving drills every year and cut you if you can't do them i'm going to work on them everyday till I can do them running full speed. Overall pretty sure I"m gonna make it but still working on PGA and I entered a fall rec. league just so I could get some 5 on 5 time.

If you've been working on your game a lot, take most of the days of but on the days you do work just do some really light things to keep your skills sharp. This will allow you to recover and feel amazing on the first day of tryouts and also to polish your raw skill a little bit.

I use a weighted ball everyday to keep the ball feeling light and dribbling speed and power with my off hand. Should I stop doing that when I rest?
